Power Belly With Delilah and Erik Brown
It's the bomb!
Learn how to use of Delilah's Power Belly weight belts in conjunction with belly dance studio training. Then experience first hand a guided Power Belly Dance Workout led by the master herself to the live music by Erik Brown. He plays driving Middle Eastern percussion and an array of other instrumentation to create a moving dance experience. This workshop is part work out and part ecstatic performance. Delilah uses body language, core body balancing, isometrics and guided imagery in a sensuous, poetic and totally enthralling presentation. Prepare to sweat AND be moved emotionally! Note: This class is not dependent on weight belt use. Delilah demonstrates how to benefit from the work out isometrically without weight belts as well.

Delilah has been using weighted hip belts in her belly dance training since she began belly dancing over 20 years ago. She introduced her Power Belly weight belt secret publicly a few years ago and it has become a hugely popular tool for professional dancers looking for that competitive edge as well as the hobbyist dancer just looking for a fun way to stay healthy and fit. They tone and sculpt the body, build stamina, strengthen and increase agility and bone density. Here is your chance to learn about their use and experience a Power Belly work out like only Delilah can deliver.

A Drummer and a Dancer
Fast Hip combinations and drum solo work with Delilah and Erik Brown. This workshop will include Delilah's favorite combination sets to get warmed up then some of her amazing belly rolls, body waves, locks pops and drops along with pelvic, stomach and ribcage isolations! All this to the beats of Erik's live drums!
Erik will talk about middle eastern music construction (a must for dancers), how a drummer hears and sees the beats in the music. As well how he follows a dancer, pushes a dancer and jams with the dancer in the drum solo!
